Before a collection comes to life, there are stories.

These narratives were born in Wales—unfolding as essays and illustrations, inspired by the coastline, the magnificent landscape, and the quiet, otherworldly atmosphere of this place.

Gradually, these different perspectives and experiences came together in imagination, each opening a window onto another world and another way of seeing life. The journey began with connections formed across the paths of remarkably different friends, stretching from Brazil to Japan and many places in between. Through conversations, encounters, and shared moments, each person brought a distinct world of myths, moods, memories, and dreams, revealing fragments of their own passage through life. At the heart of these tales is a simple idea: there is no goal, only a path.

Gathered together here in Wales, these fragments began to take on a life of their own. Imagination guides the hand, urging it to capture the images that arise and bring them to life through pencil. The images themselves seem to steer, unfolding their own stories upon the page.
